At the 2002 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Awards Ceremony held April 2, 2002, A-TEK won the NITAAC Small Business - Top Performance Award for the Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners2 innovations (CIO-SP2i) contract vehicle.
This award recognized the top company generating the largest dollar amount and highest volume of business for the CIO-SP2i NITAAC IDIQ contract vehicle. At that time, A-TEK had generated orders valued over $8 million under this contract.
This award was a direct result of A-TEK's commitment to and diligence in using this Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to the maximum extent possible, benefiting NITAAC, A-TEK, and our mutual customers. Outstanding sales, in terms of both quantity and value, are the result of continued contract compliance; a good understanding of Government requirements and A-TEK's ability to fulfill them; customer satisfaction creating repeat business under the contract; A-TEK's use of teammates to deliver appropriate high quality services to our customers; offering our customers best value in a competitive arena; and our overall contributions to the success of the CIO-SP2i Contract and Program.
