HUNTSVILLE RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

Today A-TEK held its ribbon cutting ceremony and formally announced the launch of its Huntsville, Alabama operations, naming a 30 year Missile Defense Agency (MDA) veteran, Dr. Bernard Vatz as the Executive Director of A-TEK’s Huntsville Operations focused on maximizing MDA mission assurance.  The MDA, located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, is a DoD research, development, and acquisition agency enabling the development, testing, and field integration for ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) that defend the United States, and its deployed forces and allies against all ranges of enemy ballistic missiles in all phases of flight.

A-TEK’s expertise in the areas of Scientific Data Management, Cyber and Advance IT Architectures align closely with the MDA, because of the utilization of an iterative approach facilitating the collection, analysis, normalization and presentation of scientific data germane to integrated test plans.
